Midwest Great River Ride - Boscobel II
Boscobel, Wisconsin
June 11, 12 and 13th, 1999
This year, the ride was a 3-day event held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with Thursday and Monday as travel days. Once again we based the ride out of Boscobel, Wisconsin, touring some of the most scenic country in the Midwest. Lots of hills, ridges, quiet farmland, river bottoms and twisty roads await. This is truly a great place for a motorcycle gathering.
The format for Boscobel II was similar to last year's ride, except for the extra riding day. There were two large group rides Friday and Sunday, with Saturday's ride one where riders chose from a number of suggested destinations/locales. Saturday gave riders the option of riding in smaller groups and choosing their own destination, rider groups, and start times.
Many thanks to Don and Julie Diehls for all their hard work in planning and preparation for this event.
